Ilse is my first name. Not a familiar name in the US. So how to pronounce this Swedisch name ? Well, almost everyone knows Elsa from Disney's Frozen movie ... just about the same but starting with an I ... I am born in Roeselare - Belgium in the 70's. Yes, Belgium, the land of chocolate and beer. Our capital city is Brussels, EU and Nato headquarters. Not interested ? Bruges might be the place you know. The Venice of the north. So Belgium was the country I lived in before moving to California in July 2019. I graduated with two Bachelor Degrees : Marketing Management and Consumer Psychology. Married and mom of two amazing boys of 20 and 22. They both were actually the ones that got me started with photography. Dog lover and so in Love with the cutest aussie doodle on planet Earth : ILI. I love to travel and explore the world but also trying to just be doing nothing on a secluded beach with turquoise water. I adore watching a movie once in a while hoping not to fall asleep. Wishing my eyes were able to take clicks of those amazing moments I am honored to see every single day. I am based in Orange County - CA and work locally but also internationally.

I love taking pictures of important life events – from babies in bellies, maternity and newborn shots to senior pictures – and everything beautiful in between, no matter what season you are in. It is your Legacy. With a love for the beach and travel, I can make your vision come to life, no matter the location. My philosophy is to let things happen organically – you hold your baby or loved one like its the end of the world, wind blowing through your hair, in an amazing flowey dress that is soaked at the bottom from the sea. Let's hold hands and splash and dance in the pacific. We play, snuggle, and we are going to capture those precious tiny hands around your neck before they are too big to do so anymore. Of course we will giggle and look at the camera too, no worry. So just pure You and your family. Big or small. Or maybe just you and your partner lovebirds for your engagement session. Or your Big Wedding Day. Portrait photography is a specialty of mine and you are in a one on one session with me making you shine and be the center of everything. Playing with natural light is what I Love to make that Magic happen every single time.
